Chief Security Advisor – Enterprise Cybersecurity Group
I focus on positive impact – on companies, people, and processes. “Equally adept in strategic and tactical environments…,” I am a change agent who enjoys being constantly challenged and who “…envisions terrific ways of developing solutions before others have wrapped their hands around a particular problem.” While I prefer stability in my personal life, I am constantly looking for opportunities within the enterprise to innovate, to ignite creativity, and to rethink fundamentals. I am a perpetual thinker, skilled at finding analogies and metaphors to explain complex technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk concepts. “An amazingly creative thinker…,” strategic leader, and confident individual, with a great sense of humor (well, in my mind anyway).
My favorite moments are advising C-level executives on innovative security strategies and helping them identify and prepare for emerging trends in security tools and threats. My leadership skills, financial background, cybersecurity, and technology experience give me a unique perspective for presenting to the board of directors and executive committee.
I enjoy connecting people with a common cause or need who share my passion for new ideas about cybersecurity and privacy. This has helped me to maintain a strong network of experts across industries and organizations, both inside and outside of my fields of expertise. I have mentored global CISOs and CPOs to improve their professional performance and to provide personal encouragement. I also enjoy helping organizations achieve sustainable excellence.
